Halloween 2026 at Cammas Hall Farm: Pumpkins, Shows and Fright Nights

3 min read

Looking for a Halloween day out within easy reach of London or Cambridge? Come and see us at Cammas Hall Farm, on the Essex and Hertfordshire border near Bishop's Stortford. We're open on selected dates from Saturday 3 to Saturday 31 October 2026, and there's a lot more going on this year than a pumpkin patch: family shows, a Halloween Maize Maze, live music and a few after-dark scares for anyone feeling brave.

Whether you're bringing little ones for an autumn day out or heading out for a spooky night with friends, here's what's on.

Explore our Halloween Pumpkin Patch

Grab a wheelbarrow and take your pick from over 80 varieties of pumpkins and squash. There are classic carving pumpkins, plus plenty of unusual shapes and colours to take home. Pumpkins are paid for separately, by weight.

While you're here, watch our giant Pumpcano erupt, spot the pumpkin mosaic, say hello to our Halloween characters and wander the Wicked Walkway. There are seasonal displays and photo spots dotted around the patch, too. If you'd like a bigger fright, the Terror Tunnel is recommended for ages 12 and over. Don't worry, though: there are no scare actors at the daytime Pumpkin Patch. We'll have food and drink to buy, so you can take your time and make a day of it.

Add the Halloween Maize Maze

Our dinosaur-themed Maize Maze has had a Halloween makeover. Find your way to the centre, take in the views, then see if you can find your way back out! Allow around one to two hours for the adventure. We also have some after-dark sessions if you fancy exploring by torchlight.

Book the maze at the same time as your Pumpkin Patch or Resurrected tickets and you'll get 20% off maze admission.

Family shows and October half-term fun

Auntie Celia's Anti-Crow Cure is a 20-minute family show packed with magical mishaps, slapstick comedy, games and dancing. Auntie Celia has accidentally turned her friend into a crow, and she needs a little help putting things right. You can catch it on 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25 and 31 October.

Over half-term, from 26 to 30 October, Party Monsters' Halloween Takeover brings an hour of bubbles, magic, puppets, spooky snow, balloons, games and glow-in-the-dark fun. It's a chance for little monsters to dance and join in, without the bigger scares.

The shows are booked separately, so have a look at the ticket options when you're planning your visit.

A quieter Pumpkin Patch session

On Monday 26 October at 9am, we're running a Halloween Pumpkin Patch SEN Session with fewer visitors, for guests with special educational needs. It's a calmer way to enjoy the patch, the characters and the seasonal displays. Check the booking details to choose the session that suits your family. Eligible Nimbus Access Card holders can book a complimentary Essential Companion ticket.

Halloween after dark: Resurrected and Haunted Resurrected

On 16, 17, 23 and 24 October, Cammas Resurrected brings the pumpkin patch to life after dark. Explore the displays, see the Pumpcano at night, stroll along the Wicked Walkway and, if you dare, step into the Terror Tunnel, where you'll find jump scares and scare actors (recommended for ages 12 and over). There's food and drink to buy, and a different live music act each evening.

If you'd like a more intense night, Haunted Resurrected takes over on 30 and 31 October. It's strictly for ages 18 and over, with roaming scare actors, terrifying tunnels, live music and a Scare Maize Maze. The Cabin in the Woods Trailer Ride is an optional extra with a separate ticket and limited availability.

Evening gates open at 6pm, with last entry at 7.30pm and the event closing at 9pm. Wrap up warm and bring a torch!

Plan your Halloween visit

You'll find us in Hatfield Broad Oak, near Bishop's Stortford (CM22 7JT), in the countryside on the Essex and Hertfordshire border. We're around 12 minutes by car from junction 7A of the M11, and parking on site is free.

Our Halloween events run on selected dates and booking in advance is essential. Pumpkin Patch admission doesn't include pumpkins, which are paid for by weight, and children under two can enter the daytime Pumpkin Patch free of charge.
